Recently, Both Eng. Thuraiya AL-Jabri – (botany specialist) – and Abdulrahman Al Hinai (botany specialist) have returned from a training for a month, held in the United States, specifically in the “William Brown Center” from garden plant in the state of Missouri, Santa Lewis, during this training, they get know the experience of the center in how to use the plants and the latest research and studies that the center carried out. The center owned herbarium and Library is the largest of its kind.The training program also included some field trips to collect and identify the geographic information systems and training on how to distribute maps and classification of plants, at the end of a program, they had took for a tour in natural protected of the garden plants. In addition, the specialists gave a presentation about Oman Botanic Garden (OBG).
